1. whoah. today an Act of Moron (vs an Act of God) took me totally by surprise by its moronic vindictiveness. (though these things generally do, since despite all facts I tend to play assuming that the average age in World of Warcraft is 24).

- was playing my lvl 54 mage in felwood.
- some warlock asks me for 4 stacks of food and water. being lvl 54, this means I can only make 8 food at one go for 540mana, or 10 water at one go, for 540 mana. I have 4000ish mana, so 4 stacks of each is out of the question since I'm questing and not in the mood to sit in one spot making stuff.
- I say I'm busy
- he goes berserk (he's in the same questing area: Jaedanar, but I only realize this when he runs up to me), first calling me various names, then telling me basically to reroll a class if I 'don't feel like helping people'. By this time I'm pretty mystified and annoyed, especially by the last comment, since I rolled mage on a PvP server on the basis that it is a dps class, not a water fountain. Hell, even on a PvE server I'd ask very nicely and go away if the person was busy. T_T;
- He ignores me. fine, I don't care.
- He goes onto general chat to rant about me being unhelpful. >_>?
- There is a general vendor in felwood who, I believe, sells water.

- no, this isn't the Act of Moron, which is incoming:
- later, [info]kuladen and I get one of those quests which involve filling a flask at the water pool in Jaedanar. we go back there and accidentally train 3 mobs. fine, no problem, I sheep one and he taunts the other 2... and the warlock walks by, breaks sheep by hitting it, then laughs as all three mobs bring us to low hp (no, they don't kill us). - -;; And then spams the screen with "you guys suck!"
- and that annoys me enough for me to make an unfunny noobcow cartoon idea for this week.

this brought me to a poor mood. :P first Act of Moron on Tichondrius. anyway. thx to [info]jouten for joking me out of it. *hugs*

2. going to attempt to buy ram tmrw.

3. lent [info]kuladen Going Postal. :D good book!

4. eating ice cream when it's 4 degrees celcius ftw. better yet, eat it while doing scarlet stratholme. Have Beaststalker Boots and Mark of Fordring now. Thx guys @ Entity. ^^

I would recommend everybody to do the Tirion Fordring (Redemption of Fordring? Eastern Plaguelands) series. It is hilarious. :D Esp the escort at the end (though I failed this 3 times trying to solo it. It turns out all you actually SHOULD do is ignore the guy you escort and instead hide behind a tree). it is much love. Up till he picks a fight with a lvl 63 elite, the level 63 elite you escort is what all escorts should be like! XD He beats up everybody in your path by himself (they're all elites) and he can heal you too! and he has a mount!

It has been in the high 80's and 90's (Fahreinheit, obviously) for the past two weeks. I wish it was cold!

reroll a class if I 'don't feel like helping people? you should have told him to reroll a mage if he wanted water then.

As a 60 mage for the longest time, I can tell you that i've had my share of asshats asking for water. I only give it to the polite people... but it's also your call who you give it to, so he should just go away. Plus as an Ice mage, i can train a mob onto someone else if i so choose using Ice Block (ftw). :P

he ignored me before I could come up with a reply. was just stunned by his rudeness. Up till then people who asked me for water asked for reasonable amounts and asked very nicely in Orgrimmar.

wah T_T [info]kuladen tried training him later with mobs on our way out, but the mobs didn't cooperate.

yeah just later after I'd posted, I got someone who asked me to go to him and give him 120 water. o_o; and he wouldn't pay either.

At least with my paladin and warrior, I don't get asked for crap... I feel bad for all the people who are "expected" to give handouts.

Though, my warrior does get asked for his famous Dusky "Crab" Cakes every now and again.

Mmm, Gooey Spider Leg. :D

your warrior doesn't get spammed with "PLS COME TO (etc) WITH US!" messages? O_o hehe.

Nah. Not that often. You'd be surprised how many idiots consider hunter pets a better tank than a warrior or paladin. -_-

Though thankfully, they're not as numerous as the people who know I'm a damn good tanker :D

[info]kuladen gets spammed all the time... and usually they aren't looking for a mage tagalong either. =(
